Base size - Question - Kero - 05-03-2012

Hello,

could someone please tell me what "A Front Curvature", "AA Front Curvature" and "BB Front Curvature" means? I would like to order a system by giving just the base size without a template. Can I just cut it to size like a stock piece?

Thank you in advance!

The webmaster has temporarily taken the examples of the front curvatures down to make some adjustments to the site. They will be back up hopefully tonight and you'll see them under 'Order Help.' If you order by size with the proper front curvature you will not need to cut it to size--it should fit your bald area. On the drop down menus for on line ordering there are examples of base size such as 6" x 9", etc. However, you can write in an exact size in the 'Comments Box' and that will over-ride the drop down menu selection. So if you want 6 1/4" x 9 3/8" with a 'A' front we can do that and you won't have to provide a template.

Here is the image of the front contour shapes from the TopLace site.
These represent the shape the front hairline of the piece can be.
So if you wanted a fairly straight hairline (from temple to temple) you would choose a 'C' contour.
You can then buy tape in the shape of those contours for easy attachment.
