New hair system - during and after cut in (photos) - Mr.Burns - 08-18-2009

Just got my two new hair systems from TL and they absolutely nailed my specs, and did everything that I requested.

I've taken some pics during the cut in to show how crazy the hair can sometimes look before it's cut in and styled properly! Sometimes people think they should look good out of the box, but they usually don't and they need a little work Smile Mine looks like a total rug in some of these pics, but just a little cutting and styling and it looks like real hair

Here are some funny pics I took:

Colin looks great man. Blends in really nice and style fits you well. Since youre young you can pull off something with that density, im guessing its around 80%. If you decide to go with the highlights again, it should look even better.

As a matter of pure curiousity, how old do you think I am mate?

Re: New hair system - during and after cut in (photos) - drew100 - 08-18-2009

Im guessing mid to late 20's.

That style really suits you and just emphasises that the style you go for with a hairpiece is very important.

mr Burn could you post a picture of your new systems template or maybe the system it self fliped over so we could see what you have done to get good temple coverage. Do you use tape for your front hairline. i an guessing that you might of designed your template to match a contour CC tape ??

Drew, I'm 29 buddy - but still going for a very youthful hairline! Let's see if I can keep pulling this off when I'm in my late 30's Smile

Ravid - that's no prob, I will take photos of my new system next time I have it off. The secret to getting temple coverage is actually the cut in. DId you notice in my pre-cut in photos I had left the sides very long? Well I cut that part with a scissors (not the robo) so that I can get it more exact. The biggest mistake is cutting the sides too short - you can never get temple coverage if you do that.

Mr Burns Thanks for the reply How is the front attached? Is this an all Fench lace? Did you make yor template by tracing a contour tape shape or did you freehand the front and cut the tape to match ? Thanks

> How is the front attached?
1xlayer Basebond(or iGlue) + 1xlayer of oil resistant white glue

> Is this an all Fench lace?
Nope, I always use an SFS front - finest swiss lace.
