Well he looked like a nw6 in the 1970's so my guess would be full cap.

Elton wears a full cap and it is a very good wig,especially compaired to what he used to wear!
It's funny how the media and public largely think it is transplants though????

I reckon [guessing] it`s fullcap..mind you with his dosh he can afford to bin it and put on a new one weekly !!
