Photos of my base - showing temple coverage - Mr.Burns - 08-31-2009

In response to my recent photos posts, people were asking to see how I designed the base. Well here are some shots of the base, and you can see how I've added a little flap each side of the hairline to help conceal my lack of temples and slightly thin sides.

Thank You Mr Burns for posting those photos I know this might be asking an awful lot of you but would you be willing to show us how that looks on you head by just tracing the outline of the peice without it on so we can see exactly where the temple flap go?

Very cool! One of the things I always noticed about hair piece "before and after" pics was the obvious recession on the sides and the normal hairline on top. This eliminates that problem!

What would you say are the cons about the flaps? Do they lift easily or have any styling issues?

ravid4 - here are some photos showing a trace. Can you guess which photo corresponds to the piece? 1 2 or 3. http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lokuttara ... jvr4LWrAE#

James, it takes a little getting used to in the attachment, cos you have to apply glue at the sides of the hairline and also get ti takes down right. But like everything else, once you have done it a few times it's no problem. And even if they
lift a little, it's not really a problem cos nobody would notice, and it's easy to tack them back with a bit of glue.

Yes, you're right!

I asked people on this forum for advice on which type of template to get, and Snipe and a few others advised on 3.
