going to hospital-maybe better to take piece off ! - pwhack - 09-03-2009

Hello everybody,

Has to go to hospital today to have that camera down the throat to examine the stomach, so I opted to go for the throat spray and be awake through proceedure.

I thought it better to take wig off before I went and wore a baseball cap until I reached treatment room.

Good job I left wig off as during the proceedure one of the nurses rubbed my scalp I suppose to relax and reasssure me.

So unless you have a really undetectable piece or don't mind someone massaging your piece it might be better to leave piece off during any hospital visits.

Paddy

Thanks, Paddy, that's good advice!

Yeah, not a bad idea. And since the medical field is suppose to be sworn to secrecy and privacy, you don't really need to worry about being out in public and having the nurse let the cat out of the bag. If you caught wind of it, they could be fired immediately. Plus, the medical field sees so many people, they probably wouldn't really recognize you, nor would they come up and say "oh, how is your _____ problem doing?".
