The Best Base - Arctic_Humbug - 07-07-2010

What's the best base to "go unnoticed"? I have a frontal partial and the "netting" at the hairline is becoming very noticeable and I need a flawless base for my next piece. Thanks folks!

Hi Arctic,
I looked up your order and you wear a front partial. Super Fine Swiss lace is what you're wearing now. That is the most undetectable lace available. The trade off is that in order to achieve that undetectability the lace is very fine. When the unit comes from the factory there is extra lace in front that is trimmed off by the customer. Some people leave 2 rows of extra lace, some 1 row and still others trim right up to the hair line. The advantage of leaving 2 rows is that if you do have some wear you can cut off a row and 'freshen' it up. Another alternative is to go with French lace which is slightly stronger. Both Super Fine Swiss and French lace are undetectable when properly attached.
Regards,
John
