hair piece front contour - ragsta - 06-05-2010 hello i'm confused over the front contours. different websites have listed A as slightly curved and others have listed this a C contour. for example Debbies website http://www.splitendshairreplacement.com/splitends_008.htm and here its different http://www.hairdirect.com/store/Walker-Tape.aspx?gclid=CO3Oqu6oh6ICFVKZ2AodvnPTVg i've seen the same thing on other websites as well. Which contour is A !? RE: hair piece front contour - ToplaceUSA - 06-05-2010 Hi Ragsta, If you look on our 'Order Help' page you'll see that our 'A' contour matches Debbie's 'A' contour. I don't know where the competitor's got that 'A' contour from. I've never seen that type of 'A' contour before. When you order an 'A' contour from Toplace you get exactly what you see in our example and Debbie's example. There are two different density charts used by factories so maybe they are using different contour charts too. Since we've used the same factory for 3 years we haven't looked elsewhere. Regards, John RE: hair piece front contour - ragsta - 06-06-2010 Hi John thanks for clarifying. theres alot of those differences elsewhere too. Since the sfs stock unit i ordered is A front it may curve back to much, my temple points are still decent. I may have to cut the front of the lace and some hair to make it abit more rounder to a Cc front. Is this going to be ok ? Thing is i mite have cut right to the hairline anyway to make sure it dissapears. Do you or anyone know if its possible to take sum of the hair out of the lace at the front once i've cut it to a Cc front. I know the front is graduated but i should be able to pull of non grad. as well but im not going to be cutting that much off anyway. Then i can have some excess lace just in case i need it. I miss judged the front in ruebins pictures. Lesson learnt. my temple points are more like this picture here just not as strong with my hairline being lower.. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3170/3036791611_1e4309daa5_o.jpg i'm sure i can graduate it myself if need be. i'm not afraid to experiment and im quite good at cuttin my own hair and blending. Of course i will need to see the unit before i do any of the above but it would be nice to know. |
