Regarding stock full caps - ToplaceUSA - 03-28-2010

I get asked if Toplace sells men's stock pieces that are full caps. No, we don't. I've discussed this with the factory and we both agree---there's so much to getting the proper fit for a full cap, not to mention the temples and sideburns, that it just wouldn't look realistic. It would not fit correctly. Full caps are much more difficult to get right than toppers. Everyone has a different head size, temple area, nape area, etc. There are some factories that sell full cap stock units for men but our factory just won't do and I fully agree. It's best to send in a template or an old unit to use as a template and do the job properly with a custom unit that is made exactly to your size. Stock topper units are a different story since there's a smaller area to cover.
