First piece and a long trip - Newhair - 10-28-2009 Hi there, I'm about to get my first piece begining of Novemeber, the piece will be cut in and maintained by a salon I'm not planing on 'do it yourself', however, I'm a bit hesitant cauze I plan to take a long overseas trip during X-mas for more than 2 weeks. My question is after a month or so would I be confident and comfortable enough waering in order to take a long trip? What if something goes wrong, kinda emergency? Can I wear for 2+ consecutive weeks and still look good? Thanks for your help. Re: First piece and a long trip - Encouraged - 10-28-2009 I just came from a trip after wearing for 12 days. The hair looked good on day 12. However, I started to experience a slight itch by day 11 and when I removed and cleaned, the clean up took me awhile. ~E Re: First piece and a long trip - Mr.NewYork - 10-29-2009 Look up "Stress Test" for Walker tape that I posted. I went that duration & I'd recommend it Re: First piece and a long trip - Mr.Burns - 10-29-2009 You will be fine I went to New York recently, and I had my attachment for 2 full weeks. The only thing I needed to do in that period was a hairline touch-up. I also gave the unit a rinse using just water (on my head of course). Use ST30 for the perimiter and you'll be fine. Hairline doesn't matter cos you can touch it up anyway. |
