ST-30 info - weird_fish - 10-02-2008

Guys, I used to wear and am considering wearing a partial again. Is the ST-30 tape thin? If so,how thin? Thin enough to be undetectable to the touch like the 3 mil front lace tape?

Also, how is the clean up vs. blue tape?

Thanks..

no, it is not as thin as 3 mil. it is the standard 7 mil thickness.
it can be worn on the front with proper application. you can see a front hairline on my website at http://www.splitendshairreplacement.com under photo gallery.

Thanks Debbie. That picture looks great, completely undetectable. I will be wearing a partial behind a transplanted hairline so visual detectibility is less of an issue with me. I just want something that is easy to apply, is strong, and is easy to clean. I used to use UH glue, which got messy, and I think I want to try an easy-to-clean-up tape this time around.

Q: Is this tape easier to apply than the other tapes, or is it the same deal? Also, do u know if this tape can be used with the new thin skin base...

Thanks!

No, it's not easier to apply, but it holds for a long time (two weeks or longer) and doesn't leave much residue.

The tape applies like any other roll of tape. put the sticky part down and peel off the backing. it is no different as far as application goes.
