Ever heard of 'He Shou Wu'? - Cheerios - 10-13-2008 Hi everybody, He Shou Wu is not a Chinese dish ![]() ![]() There are some links here if you are interested: http://www.hairgrowthportal.com/2007/06/01/he-shou-wu-prevent-hair-loss/ http://problemhairloss.com/the-best-hair-loss-treatment-through-herbal-remedies For those in the UK, Sen Health sell a herbal tea blend and syrups, simply called 'Hair'. Heres a link to the tea blend: http://www.senhealth.com/cms/ProductInfo/tabid/530/Default.aspx?id=334&cid=109&name=Hair And the herbal syrup: http://www.senhealth.com/cms/ProductInfo/tabid/530/Default.aspx?id=688&cid=190&name=Hair Its abit pricey, but I do know that their teas are very strong (they recommend you do not drink more than 3 cups a day- their 'Serenity' tea knocks me out ![]() ![]() You can order off their site for anybody interested. Also, if you look around you might be able to find supplements from other health stores that are less pricey. Hope to have helped. P.S. I grow my own Wheatgrass, and juice it everyday (health freak I know) and I'm sure my hair has gotten thicker. Also, just to say, I'm not a seller from Sen or for He Shou Wu lol, just sharing knowledge. Bye guys, Cheerios. Re: Ever heard of 'He Shou Wu'? - FredTJ - 10-13-2008 Cheerios Wrote:Hi everybody, Yes, it's a commonly and widely used Chinese herb. Contrary to what some of the links you post claim, it's not for and was never used to prevent hair lose. It's to nourish the hair and can sometimes, in some people delay/slow/prevent graying. It's really inexpensive. Anyone trying to sell it for more than a few dollars is simply a rip off artist. The pills are the pure herb with the sugar coating and the premixed drink contains some other herbs and is used mostly as a general tonic. ![]() ![]() ![]() Fred (StealthTJ) Re: Ever heard of 'He Shou Wu'? - Sester - 10-13-2008 I never thought to mention it, but i have been using this for years, and it seems to be effective in at least keeping what i have. Sam Re: Ever heard of 'He Shou Wu'? - emery - 10-14-2008 I am a chinese and have used these products for years. It is not a DHT blocker so it will not prevent hair loss. It is natural product that may help reducing / slowing hairloss for some... Re: Ever heard of 'He Shou Wu'? - leamon - 10-18-2008 emery Wrote:I am a chinese and have used these products for years.
