How do you "train" your hair - kevo88 - 12-23-2008

Hey guys,

Looking for the input on the best ways to train your hair and avoid those dreaded flat hairs at the hairline...

Looking at your acid test photos Mr. Burns I didn't see any of the flat hairs, whats your secret?? Big Grin

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this contraption works yet ...
but it is considered one of the top ten christmas
stocking stuffers to find under the Christmas
tree this year according to sales of the unit ....

It's called the InStyler ...
InStyler® Rotating Hot Iron Hair Straightener
(some reviews)
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/instyler-rotating-hot-iron-hair-straightener">http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/instyle ... raightener</a><!-- m -->

But I'll wait until one of you guys test it out
and review it .... using it on your piece

To get some body in my piece ...
I wash my side hair ... blow it ...
I use fructis color treated conditioner on the
piece (as many have mentioned on here)

I air dry .. and when damp ... use my fingers
to get body ....

So far ... it's better than any other method ..

I don't think a straightener is necessary!

The best tip is; after you shampoo and condition your piece, comb all the hairs at the front as you want them to stay - either up or down. While it is drying, apply a little pressure to that area. E.g. if you want a comb back or spikey front, leave the piece underside up, with the hairline hairs pressed back under the base.

Use some styling gel or wax also to tame the hair when wearing.
