A few 'tips' from a newbie - jazzy - 01-18-2009 Well, I've been wearing TL pieces since December... Not long, but I've learned a lot from this forum and through experimenting (as one does). I've pretty much got everything down to a fine art and am confident with my system and appearance. A few tips that I'm not sure have been posted on here before, so I thought I should share them with you all - let me know what you think: i) Using a toothbrush to detangle hair. When I have washed and conditioned the system, I carefully brush through the hair with a toothbrush - this untangles all the hairs and leaves the hair in single strand formation - like new! ii) Isopropyl Alcohol/Lace release. I have been buying this from various websites (hair websites) and have found it to be a pricey little liquid (more so than petrol!). However, I now buy a litre for ã9.99 from Maplin.co.uk - I pour this into a spray bottle and have a cheaper lace release! If anyone else has more tips and tricks, please do post them here. Keep it hairy, Jazzy |
