My new mohawk look - Feb 2010 - JamesKennedy - 02-02-2010

Taken with a camera phone.

Bought a 22R french lace piece and colored it black.

Mohawks rock!

I have gotten more compliments on this style than all of the others combined.

There is something especially pleasurable about getting compliment from women on your FAKE hair! Wink

Looks fantastic, BTW.

I agree! Great haircut, one of the best I have seen so far. Could you maybe post a picture indicating where the edge of your hairpiece is? It's a seemless blend! How do you blend in the high density of your piece with your buzzed sides? How do you avoid the "hover effect"? What are the specs of this piece?
This is the style I'd like to achieve. I ordered my first Toplace two weeks ago. The order is being processed. I've ordered 75%, comb forward with spikey front, no graduation. Curious if I will be able to pull this style off.
Thanks
Paco.

Dude that is slick! Where does your peice end and your natural hair start? I had a mohawk when I was like 15 and I'd love to have one again (I'm 22) and I don't think anyone would ever suspect a mohawk was a hair peice.

If you look really really closely, you can see where the hair is #1 color, where as the sides have been colored, but since the hair grew out a bit they are probably about a #3 color. So you can sort of see the area where it meets up. Some of it is my real hair mixed in too, so the line is pretty undetectable.

We have several salons that order #22R (dull blonde) as stock units and then color them to match the customers hair. #22R accepts colors really well so a professional can use that to match any color.
