newbie starter kit? What will I need - the7thson - 02-10-2009

Ok I have ordered my system with John and just waiting now. I am in the process of ordering my bits and pieces can you guys have a look at the below and let me know if you think I will need anything else cheers

Ultra hold glu (debbie site)
Re-Align (debbie site)
Lace Release (debbie site)
ST-30 tape (debbie site)
Manicure sissors for cutting lace
A nice little plastic tub to keep it all in!!!!

you will need the PURE adhesive remover if you don't already have one. to get started you really only need a few things...
1. glue and/or tape
2.lace release OR 99% alcohol
3. pure adhesive remover (or one of your choice)
those are the necessities.

Before reading Debbie's post the first thing I noticed was missing PURE. I think t is head and shoulders better than DeSolvit - althoug a bit more expensive it travels on Airplanes (I've had DesolvIt confiscated out of my Checked luggage). Also PURE smeels nice, not like an orange grove and lastly and most importantly my bean is less greasy and holds an attachment better after using PURE over Desolvit. JMHO+

Also if you are a newbie to attachemnts you may have difficulty with Roll tape and you may wish to just use glues at first. Good Luck

Thanks for the response guys, I have ordered the following from Debbies site so I have a good range to try

basebond
walker safe grip
st-30 tape
re-align
lace release (but gonna ask if I can swap for pure)
blending shears

system should be here in 5-7 days and I will post some pics once im done Wink
