removing strands of hair - NotGuilty - 02-12-2009 What's the best way to remove individual hairs including knot? I trimmed the front of my lace to fit an A contor with some manicuring scissors and although I did a decent job I did cut some hairs and left a little bit of stubble. I'd like to clean up this stubble and leave only long hairs. Also, I'd like to pull out some longhairs to give about 1/8 of an inch of just lace before the hair starts. Thanks Re: removing strands of hair - JRob - 02-12-2009 Soak the knots with leave-in conditioner and pull each one out with eyebrow tweezers. They slide right out. Re: removing strands of hair - NotGuilty - 02-13-2009 You rock, Jrob!! That worked like a million bucks. Re: removing strands of hair - JRob - 02-13-2009 Yea, when the hair is fairly brittle you can pluck it dry, but with good strong hair all you need to do is lubricate the knot a bit and it will slide out like butter. I have raw video shot of this technique but it isn't edited yet. |
