Has anyone ever used those mousse coloring products for a day or afternoon?

I use it all the time because i have had one hell of a time getting my color right. Additionally i have to use a temp color and they really suck..lol. They fade to reds and purples and blues.. yes.. i can do an imitation of a 65 yr old woman with blue hair ... Sooooooooo I add some of the color mousse products to try and blend the hair in, and hide the blue/red/fuesha highlights the temp colors can give me. Don't go out in the rain when its on...or swimming ..lmao.. Btw I have my hp hair long ... and it covers a lot of my natural hair.. so its easier to blend, i dont know how well it would work on short hair .. but its temporary, i use it both on my piece hair and real hair .. to try and blend , and it washes right out.
