Im just wondering when making a template do I need to shave my head first ? How do I shape the hairline to make it look natural and cover up where I was receding. I am very young so I can get away with a perfect hairline.

Hi 224,
Normally you can make the template over your existing hair--unless you've got so much hair that the template won't fit snug against your scalp. Then you should shave it or at less water it down. It's a judgment call on your part. There' s good video on how to make a template on 'You Tube.' Just do a search under 'hair template.' There's an example to a CC front contour on our site (and the other contours) under 'How to Order' the hit 'Order Help.'

It helps to have another set of eyes mark the perimeter.
If in doubt, order lace and make it a little larger than you think you might need. You can easily trim it down if it's too big.
