I read somewhere on here that while alcohol in hair product is a HUGE NO NO for a system their is a certain alcohol used in many products that is okay for your system
care to elaborate?
The alchol that is not good for hair is Steryl Alcohol which I am pretty sure is not in those products.
Any hair wax will help with style, The one I like best is made by Belvedere and is called Short Cuts styling stick.

I think you are referring to SD alcohol. As far as I know stearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol (emulsifier, softener).
This stuff can be a bit confusing

Yes it is but the only Alcohol that dont really damage hair is cetyl alcohol, The rest will effect it in some way, Cetyl alcohol does somewhat help keep the hair soft.

it can be a bit confusing only because almost EVERYTHING has alcohol in it
even the stuff that would be considered "good"
for instance, i think that Johnathon Product's dirt looks like a great option (outside of the Big 4) but, lo and behold, it has CETEARYL ALCOHOL and SD ALCOHOL in it.
so, i'm on the fence if this is any good or not
so the "bad alcohol" is the SD alcohol, correct? that should be the only one i'm concerned with
mind you, i'm just gonna stick with the "Big 4" but I also want to know what my options are.
I haven't seen the thread yet but i might start one about product outside of waxworks that is suggested
again, thanx guys

Well sweat can help loosen the bond so some apply a anti-persperant before applying glue or tape so to reduce the sweating, I belive Maxim anti persperant was recommended by some.

Dear BA,
I have one more important question to ak you as I'm still really very confused and undecisded as to which based to choose. I want a base, which can be undetectable to the touch and sight and good for a short hair cut comb forward with spikey front.
Should I go with the TL100 Super Fine Swiss (SFS)? TL200 French lace? or the TL500 3" Super Fine Swiss (SFS) Front Plus A French Lace Base.
Thanks
Sam

If the piece is new it dont make much difference if you do it now or the first time you do a clean up, So whatever is best for you mate.
