New pics of style - the7thson - 04-15-2009

HI all

Just thought I would share a pic of my latest hair do with you all. I wear two small pieces at the hairline to hide my recession and I know quite a few of you guys are enquiring about doing this so thought Id share my results. It is tricky to do I have to admit and I think getting the right color match is imperative, im still new to all this (6 weeks) and still experimenting but I believe I have definatly found my solution to hairloss for life.

Let me know what you think have I pulled it off?

Wow, 7th. It looks natural. Mind circling out the parts where the pieces are?

Now that you point it out, the area at your right temple is a little lighterin colour. But i only saw that after you pointed it out, so it should be fine. Wink

the7thson,
Thanks for posting those photos. We're getting more questions from people asking about filling in recessions and you've done a great job. Bingo!

John

A good way to blend the colours is just comb through some ADF a little on your own hair and the rest on the pieces and you will get a near perfect match.

It works well, I like to colour all my pieces with the SAME colour so I colour the edge of my piece and my own hair were the both meet using the SAME product, Basically like in the diagram below :

Hi the7thson,

I 've been interested in this for a while but found it too difficult to master. From your experience what tips would you give?

Best wishes,
Blondie
