explain this to me- RE: tape/glue hardening after shampooing
Michigan Baldy gave some great advice in an earlier
post about rinsing the hair in the front
and how the glue (or tape) loosens and then hardens
again which apparently works out great

can someone explain?

thanx

Basically if using hot water it loosens the hold of the tape or glue then when it cools it sort of sets hard again (Not all glues and tapes do this but some do).

If I have gone - for lets say two weeks - without reattaching and my bond starts to feel a bit loose, after I take a shower and wash my hair, to me it feels like the bond gets better and more tighter after the shower than before the shower. This is with st30, anyone else agree?

i want it back..
hmm I will have to try that with my st-30 seems the last roll of st-30 i got doesnt seem to be working too well. It only holds for a couple of days compared to up to a couple of weeks like my old st-30 roll does. ( still had an old roll left for comparison) If this works maybe i can salvage the new roll.

Tape doesn't do well for me in water. Actually, blue liner holds just fine, but most of the others lift badly when wet. They do retack after awhile, but I wouldn't be scuba diving with anything but blue liner and/or Ultrahold.
