Bungled seven-hour hair transplant
'I cringe when I look in the mirror': Bungled seven-hour hair transplant leaves man scarred and more bald than when he started
Neil, 30, from Belfast, had a hair transplant that made his hair even thinner

Left him humiliated and unwilling to go out without wearing a hat
Has now resorted to using a thickening powder to conceal the damage

RE: Bungled seven-hour hair transplant
I have heard a lot of horror stories about hair transplants that didn't work. Most of the time the translated hair just doesn't take hold. And of course what you lose in the back of your head never grows back--it's just relocated to the front or top. Has anyone out there been satisfied with their hair transplant?

well it sounds like he's had a 2nd more sucessful one and seems much happier.

To answer ToplaceUSA the answer is yes many people are happy with their HT's.

I'm pro HT, they can be amazing.

I just wish more people would do the research first.

Not that I'm necessarily pro transplant, but hair that's been transplanted will fall out first over 3-4 months and then start regrowing in 6-8 months.
