3-Mil tape has changed?
Hi guys,

I got some 3-mil recently and it is "packaged" differently, THAT I KNOW - the wrapper/backing is now white plain.

However it is not the same 3-mil no shine tape of yesterday. Not even close. It is thick and easy to work with and therefore more detectable. Has anyone noticed this? I have been using 3-mil up front and Walker no shine around the perimeter with a ST-30 facelift. Not really doing glue these days. Never would have thought that. Also with the French lace these days I am able to get a good front. Never would have tought that either.

Hi Debbie, I checked your website upon receiving this tape - it now shows the 3-mil tape as being all white backing. I have lots of the 3-mil from you and it always had the backing of red lettering. So, when the CC-Contour I recently received (you do not carry that in CC) came with an all white backing I called and was told that the company changed the "backing" to all white but not the formula - however it is clearly a different tape. They sent me a free replacement and it is still not the 3-mil.

They probably pulled the tape from the wrong bin - I guess I need to straighten those losers out.

Re: 3-Mil tape has changed?
Thanks rafs

Mr Brenner, I attach a roll tape all the way around (ST-30 or non residue or the Walker no Shine) however it is about 1.5" back from the front. When attaching the roll tape, in the front area I stretch it in such a way that it pulls back on my forehead, in a sense giving me a facelift. I attach 3 mil to the piece's hairline/front sides and I'm good to go.

Again, this is tape (3-mil) and French Lace (I-LACE Island) up front!

I never though I could get a decent front with that combo.

And different shots of the hairline:

Re: 3-Mil tape has changed?
Reubin;
the tape is just shown from the front, it still has red lettering on the backing. its the walker 3 mil tape that I have always sold. no changes. perhaps whomever you got it from is not selling the walker brand tape or they mistakenly sent you the wrong one??

Re: 3-Mil tape has changed?
Wow good job with the front hairline! The tape is virtually invisible. How long can u have this attachment on? How often do u need touchups? Why do u feel so strongly against glues? :roll:
