Toplace.com changes
Hi Everyone,
The forum was down for a while yesterday while the webmaster made some structural changes to toplace.com. The changes look minor on the out side to the customers. The bulk of the change was 'behind the scenes' and structural to the website. This has allowed us to:

-Add a new shopping cart.
This shopping cart will allow us to offer tapes, glues, and other
accessories. We are in the process of working out the details
on the accessories so just as soon as these are finalized
we will add them to the new shopping cart. Toplace.com
will be a 'one stop' shop to order all your hair systems and
accessories. This is long overdue!

-Create a form for users to post their photos and comments.
This idea was suggested by a reader and it allows other hair
wearers to see see photos of the rest of us. The photo gallery
has been hi tech and images 'float by.' Some users had
problems seeing the photos. Sometimes simple is best so
we'll retire the 'floating photos' and go with a stationary
photo gallery. Customers can post photos of themselves
with their hair and 'before' photos if they wish.

-Other behind the scenes enhancements that will make the site
more user friendly.

We're taking this one step at a time but now we've got the structural changes in place and that's the biggest step. Things will move forward from here. You'll find that toplace.com will be a better site. Thanks for your patience during this transition.
Regards,
John

Did you ever manage to put up a photo of the newer thinner lace?

RE: Toplace.com changes
I posted a photo in a different thread but here it is again. This is the new Ultra Lace (the factory originally called it New SFS for lack of better name). Recommended max density is 60% although the factory has gone to 65%. This stuff is delicate and it can't handle the heavy densities.

Many thanks.
I must have missed it in the other thread.
It looks mighty fine, in every sense of the phrase!

RE: Toplace.com changes
I have a piece with the new Ultra Lace and it is very fine. I don't think we can get finer than this unless they come up with a new, stronger material to use. It sounds like it will be a bit fragile for long term use past 2-3 months. I would be very happy though if this laste me 3 months as that's all I expect and need from a piece.
