A easy way to remove name tag on unit
I hate getting that name tag off my unit.Well,those days are gone for good.I had a venting needle
tool with the hook at the end and was so easy to remove those micro threads with that tiny hook.
At one point in my life I thought I would add hair so I bought this tool and after 10 minutes quit.Adding hair
is no easy task.Now I found a use for the tool.

Re: A easy way to remove name tag on unit
I ripped a big hole in my last unit removing the tag. Is this the right tool? <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?id=prod17104&CATID=100503&skuid=sku317104&V=G&ec=frgl_846215&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=sku317104#">http://www.walgreens.com/store/product. ... sku317104#</a><!-- m -->

For anyone who's removed at least a couple of tags successfully, is it just a matter of picking at the stitches to "pluck" them out?

Re: A easy way to remove name tag on unit
I have my method on tape, but it's going to take some time before it's edited.

I use my trusty triangular shaped x-acto blade to "pop" a few of the threads on one end of the tag. When the tag lifts away from the piece, I CAREFULLY go to the underside and cut the threads one by one until it's off. You have to be careful, but it's quick, and I have never so much as nicked the lace.
