As you say, the hair you have is quite dense.
65%-70% would probably be right for you.
Your hair is also quite straight so a minimum body wave or straight hair would be a good choice.
I've done a drawing of what is meant by temple flaps.
They bring the side hairline forward and help tie together the overall look, especially for the style you're going for.

Remember to send in a hair colour sample and take it from the front of your head, not the back.

What I have found is that the graduated front makes it a little difficult to brush backwards if its overdone. This is more important when shedding starts at 2-4 months. Talking about a 65% graduated french lace. Normally the graduation is a bit strong for my taste.

Next time i'll order 65% non-graduated. At this density it shall not have a wall of hair effect.

Another hint to cover sides is to not overdo recession in front and to specify a good density at front-sides that shoud not be cut too short. Or do recession + a template covering slightly the sides. It counts as a topper if it doesnt surpass 20 cm total, I think

Does a temple flap count as full cap or depending on size?
