The template doesn’t have to be wrinkle free. We get templates all the time with wrinkles. The factory doesn’t measure each tiny ‘lump’ on the template. Just do your best.

I wash the unit about twice a week--only when I have to. However, I do wash my own hair on the back and sides almost daily. Washing more than necessary will cause premature wear and fading.

Lots of people debate between lace and artificial skin. I suggest trying an artificial skin unit. You’re right--the clean up is easier. No need to spend time making sure all the adhesive is removed...
