Coppertone sport SPF Sweatproof 50 works at the equator, it does not leave the hair shiny but mat. My pieces never fade. JMHO

check whats inside the coppertone, alcohol,and boy does it dry out a hair unit over time.I would never use a crap product
as you stated.My hair never fades also and its so soft now.
