RE: Skin hairlines? - Unhairy1 - 04-18-2013

Could the ultra thin skin with those v knots be made with a blond hairline so the knots are invisible?

RE: Skin hairlines? - NYCguy2020 - 04-19-2013

Tried my best to get a close-up shot of the hairline. Hair has gel in it.

Sidd, I have no hair salon background at all. I'm a normal dude, just like you. I read posts, gather info, watch videos and teach myself all the skills I need to get the results I want. it's not really that hard ( with the right tools)..You need to be patient with it though.
Here are a couple of videos I found very helpful.

And these are the tools I use. http://www.amazon.com/Goody-Styling-Essentials-Thinning-Shears/dp/B000W3SZ16/ref=pd_sim_bt_3

and this is what I use to cut my own hair http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QWVY8A/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good luck!

RE: Skin hairlines? - ToplaceUSA - 04-28-2013

A couple of points of clarification here. We offer two skin units--the TL 400 which is .006 mm thick and the TL 700 New Generation which is about half that thickness. The TL 400 is very thin but just thick enough to allow single strand injection, V loops, or knotted hair. The TL 700 is so thin that it can only be V-Lopped---it just too thin to be injected. Somehow, and I don't know exactly how the factory does it, they V-Lopp the hair between to very fine layers of lace. The TL 400 can be ordered with either a SFS or French lace front (say 1" or so) at no extra cost. The TL 700 is too thin to do that. Both can be ordered with blonde fronts if requested. If you order the unit in freestyle venting the hair direction will be random. But if you specify a certain direction the factory will make it to your instructions. I am in discussion now with the factory about a new idea---more on that once we determine that the idea is 'doable.'

John
