Wet look products? - Oldwearer - 01-21-2013

I would like to have a wet look style but would like to know what product(s) to use? I believe using gel makes the hair hard. Do you get a product that provides a wet look but where the hair stays soft?

you could try serums for dry hair and use small amounts of hair spray or mousse if you want texture

Brycreem. Instead of a little dab....a lot of dab. Not too much though or you get greasy.

Looks like waxworks medium hold is discontinued. They have something called extreme texture now. Anyone tried this? Says it makes hair super shiny

Wax works is still available, you can buy it at target or cvs (if you live in the US)

Try Osmo sea salt spray

Hey guys, I have some important information on PM products.

It seems that companies that are not registered beauty salons are getting a different formulation of PM WW.

I had been buying my PM from Walmart the past couple years but discovered through a friend that places like Beauty Brands gets a more pure formulation.

So I went to Beauty Brands a bought a tube of WW, a few bucks more than WM.

Got home and sure enough, the BB tube was whiter and thicker than the WM tube.

So, I would spend the extra couple bucks and get PM prods from a real salon or Beauty Brands.

sorry man ww is wax works BB is beauty brands which is a salon across the US

so in summation there's three grades of Paul Mitchell waxworks on the market.

1 is the generic brand which is almost clear and water like.

2 is the big box store Paul Mitchell waxworks

3 is the true hundred percent formulated Paul Mitchell waxworks which can only be purchased at a salon
