To poly or not to poly? - boftrix - 01-31-2009

Hey all

Gonna order a toppie but would like to know what users think are the advantages and disadvantages of ordering a base with or without poly on back and sides. I can only assume that the poly makes life easier, but by much? And is there a downside? Thanks in advance for your comments and experience with both.

My best regards

Jon

if you are newbie and can use a thick hair (50%+) then go for poly

Poly/PSB has many pros and some cons. I used it for years as a perimeter. I have personally moved away from it, because the contrast between the poly/PSB and lace becomes noticeable in light densities with short hair.
