found my solution to longer lasting UH front hold - ruffryder - 03-15-2009
I've been wearing for 11 months now, and have been trying to find out what I've been doing wrong in terms of getting such a short hold on the front lace with ultra hold. Anyways, the solution seems simple, so I might just be dumb for not trying it earlier.
I was just not waiting long enough for the glue to dry enough before I laid down the piece and pressed down the lace. Ever since I started waiting for 5-10 minutes before doing this, I am getting around 6 days without lifting now. Before I was only getting about 2 days.
Another thing I have been doing, which was recommended by another forum poster, was to use anti-perspirant. This has also helped a bit.

thank you for posting. those little tips are always helpful to people. remember that with ultra hold, you could let it dry for up to an hour before putting the lace down into it. I allow it to dry 5-10 minutes....and that works well, but if you wanted to...you could leave it longer with no ill effects.
